Maximum prices shown may not apply to you

Some people may only be required to pay the basic daily fee if their assessable assets are below the threshold and their only income is the standard aged pension.

We have 3 payment options

A lump sum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) or Contribution (RAC).
The RAD or RAC is a lump sum payment for accommodation in an aged care home.
This amount is fully refundable when you leave, less any amounts you have agreed to be deducted.

Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or Contribution (DAC) (Rental style/non-refundable).
Instead of a lump sum payment, you can choose to pay a daily fee based on the room price.
The DAP is calculated using a government-set interest rate- known as the Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (e.g., 8.15%).

Combination part lump sum (RAD) and part ongoing payments (DAP).
You can choose to pay part of the accommodation cost as a RAD and the rest as a DAP.
This can reduce your daily payments while still providing a refundable amount for the future.

Palm Lake Care is the gold standard of what aged care in the modern era should be. Having Mum in Palm Lake Care allowed me to create some lasting joyous memories.

- Colleen Gander

I would like to thank the staff on Dorothy’s behalf for their caring, pleasant and friendly nature displayed at all times and i am sure this has contributed to Dorothy’s smooth transition into the aged care environment.

- Bob Young

A very nice, pleasant and happy place to reside. Happy staff, happy residents and the food is great, just like home. Keep up the good work, big thanks to all the staff.
