Luxury aged caring community now underway at Beachmere
April 12, 2019
There’s been plenty of activity across the road from Beachmere Bay in recent weeks as a brand new aged caring community springs to life. The best part? It’s a luxury Hamptons-inspired Palm Lake Group stablemate.
Work has officially commenced on Palm Lake Care Beachmere – a brand new $35 million class-leading residential aged caring community, on the waterfront side of Bishop Road.
Enjoying luxury Hamptons styling, just like Beachmere Bay, Palm Lake Care Beachmere will change the perception of aged care. It will offer residents 24-hour support in 102 light and bright, private ensuited rooms each with individual access to the great outdoors. There will even be deluxe waterfront suites and couples’ suites – to keep loving partners together. The development takes full advantage of its enviable waterfront position, uninterrupted views of Moreton Bay and direct beach access.
Palm Lake Group believes that after contributing a lifetime to their respective communities, older residents deserve more. Palm Lake Care Beachmere will boast luxurious appointments and communal areas such as a café, hair salon, movie theatre and multiple lounge and dining options, including room service. As well as all these outstanding physical attributes, a vast range of weekly organised activities and excursions will keep Palm Lake Care Beachmere residents as busy as they want to be.
Palm Lake Care general manager Kevin Landles says quality meals are another important feature of the Palm Lake Care Beachmere offering.
“Our state-of-the-art commercial kitchen is staffed by qualified chefs who produce wholesome fresh restaurant-style meals for our residents on site daily,” Mr Landles says. “Promoting a positive dining experience for our residents not only helps stimulate appetites and nutritional intake, it also becomes a social meeting place for residents who can enjoy the company of others and develop meaningful and purposeful relationships.”
Palm Lake Care Beachmere will offer residential, respite and palliative care options. It is Palm Lake Group’s fifth aged caring community, proudly joining sister sites at Bargara, Deception Bay, Bethania and Mt Warren Park. Palm Lake Group CEO Manuel Lang says the family-owned company (which celebrates 42 years in business this year) is proud of the class-leading facilities and care packages provided in all of the Group’s aged caring communities which are strategically positioned alongside key Palm Lake Resorts to make transitioning into these communities even easier.
“We are very excited to see this long-held vision come to reality. Built to capitalise on the unbroken water views, Palm Lake Care Beachmere residents will benefit from direct beach access and our proven reputation for quality care in luxurious surroundings,” Mr Lang says.
